This wine is a well-balanced blend of Riesling grapes picked at phenolic ripeness (90%) and overripe Chardonnay grapes (10%).
The Chardonnay grapes add a pleasant roundness that complements perfectly the high acidity and marked minerality of the Riesling grapes.
The grapes are vinified in stainless-steel vats. After an ageing of few months, the wine is bottled in spring.
It offers fresh fruity and floral notes when young; the classic Riesling petrol note emerges with ageing.
It’s best served at about 10 °C. Pair it with fish dishes or aged cheese.
