347 M.S.L.M. – ROSSO

This wine is a blend of Barbera (80%) and Croatina (20%) grapes grown in a vineyard located beside the old primary school of Torrone, one of the many hamlets of the town of Santa Maria della Versa.
The grapes are picked when fully ripe and vinified in stainless-steel vats. Maceration of the juice with the skins lasts for about 20 days. The wine ages in concrete vats for a few months before bottling.
Red fruits and balsamic notes merge with elegant tannins in this full-bodied and rich wine.
It’s best served at about 18 °C. Perfect with braised beef, one of the traditional dishes of the Versa Valley.
