Generazioni

This still wine suited for long ageing is produced with Croatina, the native grape par excellence of the Oltrepò Pavese wine region.

The grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for 18 months in French and Austrian oak tonneaux and for 12 months in the bottle before release.

Deep ruby red colour with violet highlights, it’s winey on the nose, with notes of red fruits, spices and a balsamic hint of liquorice. On the palate it’s rich and round, with a long finish.

Best enjoyed at 16-18 °C paired with braised beef or furred game.
