BONARDA
Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC – Vino frizzante
Croatina is the grape behind Bonarda, the most popular wine of the Oltrepò Pavese hills.
The harvest is done in late September or early October. The maceration of the juice with the skins for the extraction of the polyphenols lasts 15 days. A second fermentation in an autoclave in early spring produces its natural bubbles.
The colour is deep red with purple highlights. Fruity and inviting on the nose, medium-bodied on the palate. The tannins are well balanced by a pleasant bit of residual sugar.
Very food-friendly, it pairs well with salumi, stuffed pasta and braised meats. To be served at 18 °C.
Contains sulphites.
